Preparedness
The Montgomery County Health Department collaborates with local and state agencies during times of need to protect the health of the citizens. We pride ourselves on serving our community with high standards and helping plan for potential public health crises and natural disasters. We participate in many coalitions and are active on several committees that provide care and resources to our community.
Mission:
Kentucky Public Health preparedness enhances the capacity of the Kentucky Department for Public Health, local public health departments, and the health care system to prevent, prepare for, respond to and recover from the adverse health effects of public health emergencies and disasters.
Vision:
Public Health is prepared. Kentuckians are protected.
